Isn't this a beautiful time of the year? I love fall. . .the crisp air. . .the smell of clean earth. . .the colors. . .WAIT! I converted this one to mocha. . .hmmmm. Oh well. I like it anyway! Isn't my nephew adorable!??
Blakeli is THREE months old. Where does the time go??? Seriously! She has the biggest most beautiful blue eyes. And those cheeks beg for kisses. Lots of kisses. I noticed she wasn't deprived in that area. . .her parents definitely know how to love their little angel!
It's that time of year again. . .CHRISTMAS CARD photos! I love Christmas photos. I also love this couple. . .LOVE them! I don't think there was one photo I took that I didn't have to steady my hand for fear of shaking, which would lead to very blurry photos. . BUT, they had me laughing so hard!
Their back yard is a photographer's dream. Filtered light, a pond, beautiful fall foliage. Oh, and they also have an adorable pooch name Lou. As a bonus, before I left I was given a completely organic drink composed of all natural fruit juice. Oh, my was it delicious!
One of the best things about being a photographer is the wonderful people we meet. This family was no exception. They wanted a photo shoot before they welcomed a beautiful new little girl to their family. We can wait to meet the newest addition to their family!!!
Engagment shoots are so FUN! This lucky couple is getting married next May, and we are fortunate enough to be shooting their wedding photos. I love the time we get to spend with our bride and groom before the wedding. We took these photos at Tower Grove Park and the Arch Grounds. The weather and day were absolutely perfect!
Hmmmm. . .I am starting to notice a trend. All of my favorite pics lately have been in a "mocha" tone. . .
Somehow though, this photo isn't the same in color. I don't know what the difference is, but, it is definitely striking. I love Mackenzie's expression. I love her slightly turned up mouth. But I especially love those EYES!
9 MONTHS OLD!! Can you believe it!? Time is passing by so quickly. SInce the last time we saw Douglas, he has learned so many new things! He is sitting up, MOVING, and expressing his feelings quite well! I LOVE IT! Oh, and my personal favorite. . .he has grown a little mohawk! It is so cute!!!
Douglas was very happy when we moved from inside the house to outside in his backyard! We got the cutest photos of him playing in the grass, by a tree, and of course, with his beloved pooch! :)
I love photos that make you stop and think. . .for example, What is this little boy thinking?? What is he looking at? What is so magical that it has captured his attention outside of the window? I also love the warmth, the calm, and the peace that this photo expresses.
This lucky little man is part of a wonderful family. And the family was wonderful to work with. They were all naturals in front of the camera - needing very little direction. . .which makes for wonderful, natural photos!
Ahhhhh. . .you don't get to see much here!!! This is a photo of the bride to be. . .she's actually getting married in November! This shot is one of many photos that we took during her bridal session - it's just a tease really, because you don' t get to see the close-ups until after the wedding! :)
Bridal sessions are wonderful. . .there isn't the time and pressure like there is on the actual wedding day. And, a bonus for the bride - she gets to wear her dress twice!
This bride is an absolute DREAM to work with. Her finance is quite a lucky man! We can't wait to photograph their upcoming wedding, and share those photos with you as well!
